Stepwise Go is designed to help you track daily step progress on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Data We Use
Stepwise Go may access the following data on your device:
- Step count data from Apple Health (HealthKit)
- Motion activity data (Core Motion), while app features that need live updates are active
- App preferences such as daily step goal and language settings
How Data Is Used
We use this data only to provide app functionality, including:
- Showing your daily step count and progress
- Showing recent step history
- Syncing your daily goal between iPhone and Apple Watch
- Updating watch complications/widgets
Data Sharing and Selling
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not use your health data for advertising.
- We do not share your health data with third parties for marketing.
Data Storage
- Health data is read from Apple Health on-device.
- Preferences (such as step goal and language) are stored locally on your device.
- If Apple system services (for example iCloud/Health sync managed by Apple) are enabled on your device, Apple may sync data according to Apple’s policies.
Your Choices
You can control permissions at any time:
- iPhone: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Health / Motion & Fitness
- Apple Watch: Watch app / system settings for Health permissions
If you deny Health access, parts of Stepwise Go that depend on step data may not function.
Children’s Privacy
Stepwise Go is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
